Network Spinal Analysis

“Network Spinal Analysis inspires us to trust the healing power within us.”
-- Deepak Chopra, M.D.

Network Spinal Analysis approaches the concept of wellness through the belief that you perceive the world through your central nervous system.

You process the information collected by the five senses -- sight, hearing, taste, touch and smell -- in the brain, the spinal column and the myriad of nerves dispersed throughout your body like an intricate web of innate intelligence.

It is through your nervous system that you coordinate your body parts and functions, adapt to stresses and express all of your emotions -- whether it’s a positive reaction to a delicious dinner or a negative reaction to what happened that day at work.

There are times, however, when the influx of input is too much, and your system becomes overloaded or, in some cases, traumatized. Overload or trauma can be caused by a host of things, for example, physical stress from poor eating habits or environmental toxins, emotional stress from troubled relationships or childhood abuse, chemical stress from dangerous dependence on alcohol or drugs.

Overload or trauma always finds a way to manifest tension in your body, leading to a variety of symptoms such as neck and back pain, stiffness, headaches, poor posture and other long-term health ailments. This is how your body develops a defensive posture and stress physiology that limit your overall well-being.

Much of what other disciples seek to correct through massage, manipulation, medication and therapy is treating just the symptoms of underlying, unresolved tension stored in your body. But Network Spinal Analysis employs that long-dormant energy to transform your life by utilizing it as fuel to make productive changes.

Network is ideal for:

  • Headaches
  • Neck pain
  • Lower back pain
  • Insomnia
  • Poor posture

How does Network Spinal Analysis work?

When you arrive at a Network practitioner’s office, you will first go through an examination of your spine so the doctor can determine the degree of tension and the specific areas in which stress is manifested. When he or she has made the necessary assessments, you will lie face down on the table. The doctor will locate the most rigid areas of your spine and gently touch them in order to facilitate the release of tension. These entrainments allow you to be an active participant as your body releases tension through breathing.

Entrainments assist in shifting the focus from areas of dis-ease to those of free energy, intelligence, power and peace. A light touch to these areas is enough to redirect your tension and enable your body to use this fuel in a positive manner.

As greater brain-body awareness is achieved through Network care, the body moves away from defensive, adaptive patterns that are no longer needed, creating greater ease and flexibility in your spine and your life. You can experience freedom from past stresses, traumas and programming that may be blocking your potential for optimum health, happiness and well-being.

Why does Body Sobriety use Network in its program?

Body Sobriety proposes that when your body works more efficiently, so does your life. Network assists you in connecting with your inner rhythms of peace and the ability to self-regulate tension. It enhances all your activities, such as yoga, exercise, therapy and meditation.

This treatment has been demonstrated to be effective in a study conducted at University of California Irvine’s School of Medicine. In a study of almost 3,000 people receiving Network Care, patients reported significant improvements in physical, emotional and mental health. The study also concluded that “effects of Network Spinal Analysis are cumulative and global, affecting all areas of life .… a strong connection exists between Network Care and self-reported positive changes in overall health and well-being.”
